Global Climate Survey Makes the News

Most Americans feel exposed and vulnerable to a deterioration in their quality of life due to worsening climate conditions, and demand action

A new survey conducted by Veolia North America, called the Barometer of Ecological Transformation, revealed that the impacts of climate change are becoming a reality for a majority of Americans -- and they are willing to take unprecedented action to preserve natural resources. Among the highlights:

  • 61% of Americans are open to drinking recycled wastewater in the face of water shortages
  • 74% would eat food grown using recycled water
  • 82% would pay more to filter microplastics out of their drinking water.
